It all started thousands of kilometers away from home, in a small village somewhere in the jungles of Laos. It cost me only a few euros to attend the short “how-to-make-a-dreamcatcher” workshop, held by Tai Lue ethnic Laotians. It was the first time I did anything like that with my own hands, so it took me about an hour to finish my first tiny dreamcatcher.
It would be nice to make some of them when I get back home, I thought.
Then I came back home. I bought all the materials I needed: yarns, wooden sticks, and a small saw to cut the sticks. All I needed then was the second most valuable -just after health- thing: TIME!
